Allan Brunner is a custom furniture maker, producing elegant, handmade furniture and using traditional construction and joinery. Each piece of furniture is custom-designed, constructed with carefully chosen premium lumber, hand-finished with a mixture of oils and varnish, and topped with paste wax for extra luster and durability. Allan works mainly in quarter-sawn cherry, but also uses maple, oak, mahogany, sycamore, jatoba, zebrawood, leopardwood, purpleheart, and pear as the primary wood or as accents. His style is a pleasing combination of Shaker, Mission, and Asian influences.
